Mid to Senior .NET Developers

The Position

The successful .NET developers will be responsible for:

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering new features in our products, including upgrades to our existing functionality.
• Work in a cross-functional product team to deliver our vision and roadmap of a high-quality SaaS product.
• Interface with product and engineering teams to help design system architecture as well as functional and non-functional requirements as needed.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Actively participate and engage in ongoing professional development by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
• Contributes to creating technical documentation such as technical design specifications, test plans, and product documentation.
• Support the maintenance and operations of the product, including support to our Customer Support team for customer escalations when needed.
• Participate and advocate in the team’s agile processes and continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner with the team’s leadership and assist in driving forward best practices such as coding standards, code reviews, code management, and release strategies.
• You will help build communities, mentor others, and coordinate and lead initiatives which help your peers across our organization.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Advanced knowledge of programming using ASP.Net and C#.
• Tertiary qualification in software engineering or similar field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 3 + years experience in a software development team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.

Beneficial

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Dataverse (CDS) environment and the greater Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Dataflow, and Power BI.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Understanding of cloud architectures and trends.
• Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with functional consultants to translate user requirements into functional specifications and then into technical development.
• Experience working with the following is highly regarded - REST API, PowerShell, JavaScript / TypeScript, JQuery, HTML5 / CSS, Bootstrap, Entity Framework, testing Framework e.g XUnit, MS SQL, .NET Core / Standard, Azure Functions / Service Bus, SSRS
