Role Overview

  • Creating clear, easy-to-read, and efficient PHP code using the Laravel framework.
  • Integrating external services seamlessly into our main platform.
  • Constructing automated test pipelines and integrating software components to create a fully functional software system.
  • Developing various web tools that include secure authentication systems.
  • Collaborating with the agile development team to enhance existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) routines while upholding high coding standards.
  • Working with the testing and commissioning team to automate and improve system performance and manufacturability.
  • Providing support and collaborating with the entire technical and business organization, including research, business development, manufacturing engineering, and production.
  • Participating in technical discussions across engineering, product development, and contributing to code reviews.
  • Assisting in the documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a software development environment.
  • Strong command of the PHP programming language and Laravel framework, including its syntax, features, and standard libraries.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with API’s, third-party platforms and libraries.
  • Experience with databases like MongoDB and SQL.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Be someone passionate about innovation, collaborative problem-solving, and software development.
  • Have experience working in a remote yet agile development environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
