Role Overview

  • The team will be focused on solving clients’ problems via beautiful and clever websites and apps that engage, excite and transact online in the process.
  • Work closely with the creative design team, and with the backend developers who are utilising Microsoft .NET technologies and Content Management Systems- primarily Sitecore and Umbraco.
  • Must be self-motivated, with a strong desire to solve problems.
  • Passionate about their work and not satisfied simply to maintain their current knowledge.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in React JS, strong expertise in creating performant and maintainable applications.
  • Experience of working within a similar role.
  • A strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • UI/UX skills to build complex modular layouts and interactions.
  • ES6 JavaScript – Effective programming fundamentals and understanding of OO principles.
  • Design – An appreciation for design and its importance in the work you produce.
  • A good understanding of web usability standards and cross-browser development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Gulp, Webpack and Babel to compile and optimise code
  • Server Side Rendered Applications using technologies like Next JS
  • Interest in new technologies such as Styled Components and Apollo.
  • JQuery, Other JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular)
  • Sitecore / Umbraco experience
  • Knowledge of the travel market would be helpful, although not essential
