Mid-Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Owns small or function-specific projects, provides updates and receives input at key milestones within each project.
• Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
• Conducts product testing and creates models and prototypes.
• May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
• Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial design, preferably with a focus on cobotics or robotics.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and design software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion 360.
• Profound understanding of mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, materials science, and fluid mechanics.
• Proven track record in designing mechanical components, systems, or products, with an emphasis on functionality, safety, and manufacturability.
• Familiarity with creating prototypes, conducting testing, and refining designs based on real-world performance.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Passion for emerging technologies and a drive to push the boundaries of cobotic design.
