The Position

The successful Senior Mobile Developer will be tasked to: 

  • Design and build mobile applications for iOS and Android devices
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team that includes other developers, business managers and software testers
  • Develop high-quality, efficient, and tested code
  • Work on defect-fixing and improve existing mobile applications 
  • Be a part of code reviews to improve quality standards and help improve quality control processes

Candidate Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • A solid IT educational background including experience of working as part of a team on product-focused software projects
  • Intelligent and self-motivated with a professional attitude
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and building native mobile applications (iOS and Android), ideally with a good mix of the following technologies:
    • Objective-C
    • Interface Build (XML/WebService interaction with Objective-C)
    • CocoaTouch patterns and best practices
    • Core Data/SQLite
    • HTML5 & Phonegap
  • Proven ability to work as part of a distributed team with an understanding of Agile development practice
  • Knowledge and experience of XML, CSV, SSL Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon Web Services technologies is desirable
