The Position

As a Hybrid Mobile Developer, you will be participating in driving our already successful business to new heights. Possessing a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits, you will be a member of a seasoned, cross-functional team of developers and designers who will partner with you in crafting the next generation of mobile apps serving businesses based in Kuwait from our UK head office.

The successful Senior Hybrid Mobile Developer will be expected to:

  • Design, implement, and deliver across the entire app life cycle: Requirements, Analysis, Design, Test, Deploy & Release, and Support.
  • Create compelling mobile device-specific user interfaces and experiences and optimise the performance of the apps.
  • Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends in mobile technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological developments in mobile and the web.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. 

Candidate Requirements

  • Must have hybrid mobile app design and development skills
  • A proven track record on developing hybrid mobile app interfaces
  • Ability to develop intuitive user interface designs
  • Strong knowledge in working with Multiple Form Factor devices like mobile and tablet (with different screen resolution).
  • Expert knowledge in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, including frameworks like jQuery/jQuery Mobile and AngularJS/PhoneGap
  • Should be aware of best practices and coding standards in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
  • Experience in developing hybrid mobile applications for iOS, Android, Windows, BB10 using Apache Cordova, PhoneGap
  • Strong understanding of Apache Cordova and Apache Cordova Plugins for various mobile devices and third-party native plugins integration
  • Knowledge of web services based on RESTful & SOAP.
  • Experience on Business Object Model implementation and data integration with JSON/XML
