The Position

The successful PHP/Symfony Developer will be tasked to:

  • Design, develop and test software for a variety of systems that interact with our blockchain
  • Consider stability, security, confidentiality and defence against automated hacking tactics in all work
  • Design and develop systems in PHP
  • Peer review code
  • Manage project items to completion
  • Write testable code

Candidate Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience developing in Object-oriented PHP
  • Demonstrable knowledge in PHP Frameworks, ideally Symfony (others considered)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with source code revision control systems (GIT)
  • Focused on output and quality, with a habit of documenting your work
  • A good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery)
  • Automated testing principles and practices
  • Very good spoken and written English skills.
  • Database design (MySQL & PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of designing building and integrating APIs
  • Ability to think logically and with a high degree of detail
