We’re looking for a talented Full-Stack WordPress Developer to join our ever-expanding team of expert IT professionals. The Position

Your main responsibility will be transforming web designs to fully-functioning and customisable WordPress themes. We use our boilerplate theme called BilliePress to speed up development, which includes our build tools and preferred architecture. Besides that, you will also be working on the front-end for an affiliated company.

Besides working on next-level WordPress themes, you will also be working on a fintech application of our partner company. This front-end is written in Ember JS and includes Handlebars templating and SASS stylesheets.

Candidate Requirements

The full-stack WordPress developer we are looking for should be no stranger to working in a team but is also able to tackle a front-end project on his/her own. They should look at an issue, not as a literal assignment; they take it a step further an ask questions such as: What does this change mean for responsiveness? Or maintainability? Or accessibility? What situations can occur that may be affected by this change? Finally, they should also test thoroughly and precisely and take pride in creating front-end masterpieces.

More specifically, we need a WordPress developer with the following skills:

  • Advanced HTML knowledge
  • Semantic and accessible markup
  • Advanced CSS knowledge
  • Sass/SCSS
  • Vanilla Javascript
  • jQuery
  • PHP
  • WordPress theme development
  • Build tool experience (Webpack, Gulp)
  • Version management (GIT)
  • Good English
