The Position
The successful Front-End Developer - Veu.Js will be tasked to:
We are currently evolving our SaaS products and delivering an entirely new experience to our customers through a SaaS-based approach. As our in-house UX/UI export, you will:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, sitemaps and mock-ups
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, widgets etc.
- Build user interface elements and components (such as navigation, buttons, search fields etc.) to ensure product consistency
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, layout, flow)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer in a similar role
- Comfortable with Vuejs and Bootstrap with no fear of HTML/CSS, having worked on least one Web-based commercial application.
- Portfolio of design for the web projects
- Experience in using wireframing tools
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in user research and testing, including analytics tools
- Have a great understanding of UI/UX design, and want to use tools to improve how our products are used.
- Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Desire to work on a product that makes a difference to people lives (our end customers are people in care for whom service is everything)
