Get to know CEO and Founder Alex Wise, the story behind Netpeak Software, and their future plans in this quick interview.

Q: In simple terms, what does your startup do?

Alex: We create software for SEOs (search engine optimisers) and webmasters. Currently, we have two public projects: Netpeak Spider and Netpeak Checker. In layman’s terms, we develop tools that will help you find issues on your website to optimise it for search engines, aggregate tons of data from top SEO services, and get more prominent positions in search. 

Q: What problem/s do you seek to solve or help?

Alex: Search engine optimisation is a lot of work. Besides strategic tasks and analytics, there are tons of grunt work like data collection, regular website audit, etc. Our tools let specialists automate their day-to-day SEO tasks and get a profound insight into website optimisation. 

Q: Are you funded and how?

Alex: We are a bootstrapped company, funded by partners from Netpeak agency.

Q: What were you doing before you started Netpeak Software?

Alex: I’ve been working in the SEO niche since 2006. Firstly, I was a freelancer offering SEO services, which were quite different back then. In 2010, I joined Netpeak, which is the leading digital marketing agency in Eastern Europe. After successfully putting together and managing a team that worked with the biggest projects in the agency, I decided to launch Netpeak Software as a part of Netpeak Group.

Q: What inspired you to start Netpeak Software?

Alex: When I worked as an SEO in the agency, we had lots of monotonous and time-consuming work. We knew that if we automate some tasks, the efficiency will skyrocket. None of the SEO tools available at the market back then could satisfy our needs 100%. That’s why we decided to develop custom tools for internal use and then made them public.

Q: What are your goals over the next five years? Where do you see yourself and Netpeak Software?

Alex: At Netpeak Software, we have several goals:

1. To develop the Top 1 SEO desktop tool in the world. The tool which will be useful not only for SEOs but also for digital marketers, bloggers, and so on.
2. Create a web-based product (currently we offer only desktop software).
3. Develop a mobile app which will notify users about all changes on their site in a live mode. It will not only notify about changes but also provide with details on how these changes affect your business. 
4. Grow and advance our team and contribute to the development of our region.
